I am at the forefront of leading the world with the exceptional skills of working with urushi. In recognition of my work, I have received the Good Design Award in Japan in 2011, 2013, 2016, and 2021. In 2016, I was selected as a member of a project initiated by LEXUS to support Japanese craftsmanship.
