Ruby Red, Mixed media / 65 x 43.5 cm. Set against a black background within a bronze-coloured frame, a series of red glass gems stand out, giving the painting its title. The rest is, of course, created using broken CDs and a mixture of sand and charcoal salvaged from the inside of water filters.
