THE CARDIAC NFT COLLECTION Is by far the most anticipated and important collection of works that explored the theme of LOVE in all its’ colours and variations. CARDIAC series started in 2008 with a sculpture and a study in cobalt/ultramarine blue in a blank Lanvin book. Later I created a very simple stencil with raw card. This has served as the base for the “1st Generation Cardiacs” (2008-2012) , Then the Cardiacs became more free hand and partially abstract, still keeping a certain trademark characteristic, which was close enough to the actual human heart, but far from it being purely anatomical reproduction of it. I designed this heart to make it instantly recognisable and trademarked the shape. This followed by the Conceptual Cardiacs then the “Death” of the Cardiac for a while in the “Physical world”. In the following years between (2017-2022) it was always only a subtle mention of it and not a direct representation. Until I decided to recreate the Cardiac series as NFT-s for the Metaverse (and Multiverse). Taking LOVE from our real world to the digital realm and the new worlds.. This coincided with the WISE ART platform launch of my works, so here they are..
