Edward Hopley In this work the imaginary cover of a geothermal well allows us a window into the superheated world beneath Earth’s crust, the circulating molten magma becoming a metaphor for our own life-giving blood. The second work from the Genesis series, rather than focusing upon the destructive impact of humankind upon our planet, this piece focuses on creation and the new technologies with which we can ensure a sustainable future and is accompanied by a meditative soundtrack based upon healing chants and frequencies.
