The works of art entitled “Silent Blue” and “Silent Yellow” were born during the first days of the war in Ukraine and pay homage to the colours of the suffering country’s flag. These creations forcefully depict the utter loneliness and wrenching pain of the war and are suspended in a place without space and time, waiting, mute. “Silent Blue” and “Silent Yellow” are deliberately listed separately although they are a set, inextricably linked physically and metaphysically. This unnatural separation painfully drives home the horrible separation that a war inflicts on human collectives, in particular on families.

Short Description
