A newborn baby's face composed with fingerprints, his first cry. The work reflects on the identity of the individual, the uniqueness of each human being, his singularity, and the uncertainty of a future marked by his DNA. The negative white-on-blue colours reinforces its expression, makes his scream bigger. Made from scans of fingerprints from the palm of my hand, then composed and moulded with graphic design software.
