A newborn baby's face composed with fingerprints, his first cry. The work reflects on the identity of the individual, the uniqueness of each human being, his singularity, and the uncertainty of a future marked by his DNA. The negative blue-on-red colours gives him an enigmatic character. Honourable mention at the VI Biennial of Valencia, Spain. Finalist of the Arte Laguna Prize 23.24, Venice, Italy. Made from scans of fingerprints from the palm of my hand, then composed and moulded with graphic design software.
