What I know of Mary's inner mystical force tells me that it is for this change on earth that Mary is working — for an end to pollution, an end to the brutalization of nature, an end to injustice, cruelty, hypocrisy of all kinds, an end to homophobia and misogyny and sex- and body-hatred; the end of anything, in fact, that prevents us as human beings from acknowledging our own inner divine nature and the divine splendor of the planet we are in such imminent danger of destroying. — Andrew Harvey
