The images of human irises will soon become extremely rare, because today, nearly 40 years since the original TV show Star Trek introduced the ‘PADD’ (Personal Access Display Device), we are entering the era when the personal ID (future pincode) is predicted to be the iris. As a video artist, Viktoria Kova is researching the impact of colors, images, sounds and vibrations on the human body. Using this knowledge she creates videos with immersive, meditative impact on the viewer, beneficial for health. In counterweight to the IPad, the video artwork ‘The EYEpad’, is created to relax and comfort body and mind.
