This painting rests in classic painting tradition and methods. The artist is on a contiuos venture to give rebirth to the content of classic mythos, allegory & symbolism. Classiscism, as experienced by a contemporary painter, depicting the inner and outer realms of the human condition. Regarding this particular theme : "Having Indulged in some various biographies on Isaac Newton, it led me into a chain of thoughts and contemplations around, not only his revelation, but how his mind led him onto this journey of intellectual perception. And then in turn how our physical reality somehow always seem to manifest the inner reality and the sublime." My sequence of work titled "The Weight and the Sky" consists of paintings and sculptural objects and indeed is a tribute to Isaac Newton, but also is a personal contemplation on the measures of physical weight-versus-lightness in the physical world - as well as in our minds. This original painting is signed with initials, in oil, at the front. It is also signed at the back with pen signature and a serial code unique to this piece.
