ANTONIO NATALE (B.1965) is a recognized Italian artist, also known worldwide as the "Artist of Banknotes", being the only artist using original out of circulation banknotes as his exclusive supports since 1997. Antonio narrates a thousand tales seen through the eyes of the banknotes he uses, giving life to their stories and their background. By giving a new destiny, a new sense and a new value to the obsolete banknotes, he becomes the Restorer of Value. It portrays, as his original painting of MARE NOSTRUM created in 2016 to denounce this crime against humanity, a woman crossing the ocean with traffickers, showing her injured and broken heart. The original painting was exhibited in 2018 at the European Parliament during Antonio’s exhibition “Stories of Roses, Butterflies and Silences” dedicated to Women and Children’s Rights.

ANTONIO NATALE is the Artist of Banknotes. He is the only artist worldwide who paints on original out of circulation banknotes in an exclusive manner since 1997. Antonio's paintings tell a thousand tales seen through the eyes of the banknotes. He gives a new destiny, sense and value to the obsolete banknotes changing them into Art, and thus becomes the Restorer of Value through them.
