Concept information: “Dopamine Addiction” is showcasing our modern world in an overload of candies and sweets in a scurrile, colourful and playful environment that symbols our lifestyle of intense social media usage, scrolling, gambling and other fast-paced, high-reward modern entertainment which is rewiring our brains. There are chocolate pills with a text above “the pills won’t help you now” while Bugs Bunny keeps watching you with his big eyes. Our Endless Appetite for Pleasure was for me the inspiration of this one of my very first pieces of art.
