The subjectivity of Nazanine's lens... Nazanine was only a schoolgirl when her family left Iran and she continued her schooling and then her studies in biology in the USA, Canada and France and then continued in research and teaching.
Nazanine's camera is undoubtedly the extension of her laboratory microscope; with which we observe and analyze the movements and reactions of life in order to pierce its mysteries while we capture various fleeting and dying moments to preserve them from the abyss of nothingness. Look for these fragments of Life highlighting their intrinsic similarities and their common sense to illustrate the humane in that moment. It is like writing with light, the magical moment when the gaze meets chance giving a voice to the photograph.
Departing, immigrating, living and rebirthing, learning to live again, these are the imprints, the multidimensional identity of Nazanine's work. This is not another series about feminism...
