Autoportrait, hand, poem, color of Rose… The painting is part of a series of artist’s semi-autobiographic semi imaginary symbolic portraits, on industrially produced middle-sized wooden boards.
In portrait, the central figure is sometimes clearly visible- as in this painting, sometimes partly covered with paint or dripped color flashes. Mainly painted in darker earthly brown and black tones, this one stands out with its fleshy pinky color.
There are some poems slightly visible, in a kind of surrealistic or dada automatic writings, in the Slovene language.
 There is a structured relief surface of white thick color applied before the expressive black drawing.
