Description

Juan Manuel Espinosa. First of two illustrations set about the Spanish Inquisition. It represents some children fighting for some chestnuts in Seville in the 16th century. The action takes place in the so-called Callejon de la Inquisicion, in the Seville neighborhood of Triana. The view of the Giralda in the background is not real, but it helped me to make the city where the action takes place clearer.
