A bouquet of flowers in a vase is a theme that could bring together thousands of works in the same museum. Like an antique still life, the bouquet is an offering that crosses time and eras. As a child, I was used to buy anemones as gifts because they were cheap and formed a small constellation of bright colors. My mother or my grandmother put the vase on the corner of a sideboard on an almost antique doily. This symbolic permanence of childhood  sleeps between the petals of these painted anemones.
